“My father didn’t need more information. He needed someone to explain it to him in the language he grew up with.”
As the son of immigrants, Subhan grew up watching his parents and relatives navigate a healthcare system that was never designed with them in mind. Appointments filled with unfamiliar terminology, forms that assumed fluency, and conversations where nodding along felt easier than admitting confusion. He knows this problem far too well — not from a market report, but from his own family.
That reality hit hardest when his father was admitted to the hospital. Surrounded by medical jargon and uncertainty, his father turned to ChatGPT — typing his questions in Urdu — just to understand what was happening to him and to find some reassurance in the middle of the night. A general-purpose chatbot became his lifeline, simply because it could meet him in his own language.
Watching that moment, Subhan realized millions of families face the same fear every day, and they deserve something built for them. Sahaara AI is that answer: a compassionate, culturally aware companion that turns confusion into clarity, so no one has to face a hospital bed feeling alone or unheard.
